Truly a great man - I didn’t have the easiest of times at Wales High , especially at the beginning, but Mr Day stepped up and resolved any issues I had with being bullied , no messing about. This has left a great impact on me even to this day and one I am eternally grateful for. No other headteacher matched up to him , and there are good memories of him from my sister , mum and grandma even ! To me , this shows how much of a cross generational impact he had and shows the importance of engaging with the people , rather than just seeing them as another task or a number on a league table. RIP Mr Day.
