It’s only as an adult and a parent that you really appreciate what a fantastically dedicated teacher Mr Day was. The opportunities available to us at a state school in terms of holidays (or Outdoor Pursuits I think they were called!) were incredible - from 1st year camp to ski-ing, Europe & beyond. For all the teachers to give up their time to take us all away was amazing really & all lead by his enthusiasm. Have such memories from those times! Thank you Mr Day. Rest in Peace. Jacqueline
