Well John, You are on your final expedition, this time on your own. I hope you find the streets are paved with gold. On behalf of many who won’t know about this page, can I say a big THANKYOU. There are many ex students of Wales High School out there doing what they are doing now because of your influence. You shone a light into many student’s lives to help them find their way forward in life. As for me, another thankyou. Thankyou for the support you gave when things were difficult. Thankyou for the guidance and wisdom you showed when I couldn’t see the way forward. Thankyou for having confidence in me and for using me as a sounding board. Thankyou for your generosity, when I was needing a minibus you gave me your ‘Bread Van’ which served my community well and when I was saving for a Matatu(minibus) for the Kenya project I am still involved with, somehow you found the money to make up the shortfall.
