I have so many fantastic memories of Mr Day... where do I start?! ... Drag Racing minibuses full of 11 year olds along the beach in Wales on Easter Camp (surely illegal haha!) ... Getting to perform alongside him as Fagin in the Oliver production ... Him joining in a game of footie with us on the back field, JD belting the ball and it hitting me clean in the stomach (followed by hugs and apologies lol) ... Throwing his glasses case at a lad in assembly who was in bother for snowballing teachers "GET YOUR HANDS OUT YOU POCKETS !!!" ... Him chasing 2 Year 11 boys down the school road at leaving time, catching them and frog-marching them back up to school with everyone cheering and banging on the bus windows ... His performance of 'Master of the House' with Mrs Cole at his leaving concert was just so brilliant ... The unforgettable Full School Squashes, with stories and the regular dissing of the Staff Band ... Not closing the school for snow until HE slipped over, and surveying the fire drills from the old flag pole mound ... Professional commentaries of Sport's Day on the tinniest loud speaker going Great Memories, wish I could go back and live them all again. Thanks Mr Day for the best school days anyone could wish for x
