Myself and Steve Townsley managed to get ourselves invited to John's retirement school assembly in July 2012, and very moving it was too. Kids were lined up outside his office afterwards to give him presents, and even the cleaning staff had clubbed together to gift him this commemorative chess & wine set. I John enjoyed his 8 years of retirement. Thank you for the memories and the lessons I take with me everywhere I go, all the time.
